Basic life support (BLS) is a level of medical care which is given for injuries or life-threatening illnesses for full medical care can be given at a hospital. It can be provided by trained medical personnel  or qualified bystander.

This course consists of five modules 

Responsibilities 

Primary Survey 

Resuscitation 

Secondary Survey 

Choking 

 

 

After completing this course, you will be able to: 

Understand basic life support requirements 

Understand chain of survival 

Be able to administer safe and effective CPR and Assist a choking person 

Be able to demonstrate post resuscitation procedures 

 

 

At the end, there will be 10 MCQ questions to complete – a pass mark of 80% is required
